This is a HSE approved three day course (replaces the original four day course), and covers all the skills needed to become a confident workplace first aider.

It is required by all workplaces that have assessed themselves as being at higher risk, or having higher number of employees.

Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
Serious bleeding management
Shock management
Spinal injury management
Heart attacks
Choking
Burns and scalds
Fractures
Eye injuries
Unconscious casualty treatment
Illness assessment
Injury assessment
First aid kit use
Accidents and illness
Poisoning
Allergic reaction
Blood sugar levels

After completing the course, a successful candidate will recieve a HSE appoved certifcate that is valid for three years

This course is fully compliant with Health and safety (first aid) Regulations 1981.
